Deputy Diocesan Secretary (Director of Operational Support) kate.cameron@yorkdiocese.orgKate’s role as Director of Operational Support is to ensure all elements that relate to the operational running of the diocese are as efficient and effective as possible. She is also responsible for the operational support that the diocese offers to parishes, with the aim of reduce the burden on parishes in their operations in order to free up time and energy for mission and ministry. She oversees the Church Buildings team, carbon net zero work, work on the reorganisation of parishes and benefices (Mission and Pastoral Measure), community engagement, generous giving, communications, and HR.
As Deputy Diocesan Secretary, she also sits on the York Diocesan Leadership Team (YDLT), deputising for Peter Warry where needed and overseeing other project work as required.
