The Reverend Michael Reginald Bushby, (Priest-in-Charge of Newbald Benefice ) has been re-appointed as Priest-in-Charge of Newbald Benefice. The licensing by the Bishop of Hull will be held at Hullen House on Thursday, 26 February at 10am.

The Reverend Michael Burley has been appointed as Rector of the Garrowby Hill Benefice. The institution and induction by the Bishop of Selby will be held in the Parish Church of St Edith, Bishop Wilton on Tuesday, 24 February 2026 at 7.30pm.

The Reverend Nicole Dominique Marie Gladstone, (Part-Time Prison Anglican Chaplain at HMP Deerbolt), has been appointed additionally as Part-Time Prison Anglican Chaplain at HMP Millsike. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Selby on Monday, 26 January 2026 in the Bishopthorpe Vicarage at 2.30pm.

The Reverend Christine Haddon-Reece, (Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice of Lastingham with Appleton-le-Moors, Rosedale and Cropton), will retire on 22 January 2026. Her final service will take place on Sunday, 18 January 2026 at 10am in the Parish Church of St Mary’s, Lastingham.

The Reverend Shirley Elizabeth Hebden, (Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice of Beeford with Frodingham and Foston), will retire with effect from Monday, 1 June 2026. The date of her final service will be Sunday, 31 May 2026.

The Revd John Harry Keeley, Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Wigan in the Diocese of Liverpool, has been appointed Priest‑in‑Charge of the Benefice of North Ormesby and St Thomas, Middlesbrough (held in plurality). The licensing by the Bishop of Whitby will be held in the Parish Church of Holy Trinity, North Ormesby, on Thursday 26th February 2026 at 7pm

The Reverend James Harry Little, (Team Rector in The Howden Team Ministry Benefice), will retire with effect from Friday, 1 May 2026. The date of his final service will be Sunday, 12 April 2026.

The Reverend Thomas James Mumford, (Vicar of St Mary-le-Tower, known as Ipswich Minster, in the Diocese of Edmundsbury and Ipswich) has been appointed as Chaplain to the Bishop of Selby. He will be licensed by the Archbishop of York in the Chapel at Wydale Hall on Monday, 16 March 2026 at 5pm.

The Reverend Nikki James Blanton Stevenson, (20s-40s Minister in the Benefice of Ingleby Barwick), resigned with effect from 31 December 2025. He will continue in his role as Prison Chaplain at HMP Kirk Levington.

The Reverend Philip William West, Assistant Curate to the Benefices of the South Holderness Deanery as listed, will be re-licensed to those benefices for one year. The licensing by the Bishop of Hull will take place at a Private Ceremony on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
