The Revd James Kenny, Assistant Curate of Weighton Wold and Goodmanham and Sancton, has been appointed as Priest-in-Charge of Scarborough St Martin and Scarborough St Saviour with All Saints. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Hull in St Martin, Scarborough on Thursday 8th May, 2025 at 7.30pm.
The Revd Hannah Madin, Multiply Minister at Scarborough St Mary with Holy Apostles, has been appointed as Assistant Curate of Hull, Newland St John. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Hull at 7.30pm on Tuesday 6th May in St John Newland, Hull.
The Revd Jacob Madin, Multiply Minister of Scarborough St Mary with Holy Apostles, has been appointed as Vicar of Hull, Newland St John. He will be collated by the Bishop of Hull at 7.30pm on Tuesday 6th May in St John Newland, Hull.
The Revd Darren Moore, Rector of Yarm with Kirklevington, Picton and Worsall, has additionally been appointed as Assistant Area Dean of Stokesley for a period of five years. He will be commissioned by the Bishop of Whitby at 8.30am on Monday 31st March at 21 Thornton Road, Stainton, Middlesbrough, TS8 9DS.
The Revd Shena Moray-Evans, who holds the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of York, has been appointed as Priest-in-Charge of the Kingston Park Benefice, Newcastle. The date of her Licensing has not yet been fixed but is expected to be in early to mid summer.
The Revd Lisa Opala, Assistant Curate of St Mary’s, Nunthorpe and Chaplain, South Tees NHS Hospital Trust at James Cook University Hospital, has be reappointed as Assistant Curate and will continue as Hospital Chaplain. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby at 5.30pm on Sunday 13th April 2025 at St Mary’s, Nunthorpe.
The Revd Mark Poole, Priest-in-Charge of Barmby Moor, has additionally been appointed as Area Dean of South Wold by the Bishop of Selby for a period of five years. He will be commissioned by the Bishop of Selby at St Catherine’s, Barmby Moor, at 7.30pm on Monday 24th March.
The Revd Fiona Robinson, Assistant Curate of Sutton Park St Andrew and Wawne St Peter, has resigned from this post with effect form the 29th June 2025. She will continue in her other role as Chaplain of Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital. Her final service in the parish will be on Sunday, 29 June 2025.
The Revd Bridget Woodall, Vicar of North Ormesby, will retire on the 20th July 2025. Her final service will be on Sunday 29th June 2025 in Holy Trinity Church, North Ormesby.
