The licensing by the Bishop of Whitby will be held in the Parish Church of St Mary’s, Goathland on Sunday 1st February 2026 at 3pm.
The Reverend Andrew John Greiff, Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Redcar, has been appointed as Vicar of Redcar Benefice. The collation by the Bishop of Whitby will be held in the Parish Church of St Peter’s, Redcar on Sunday 25th January 2026 at 4pm.
The Reverend Benjamin Luke William Gunter, Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Stokesley with Seamer, has been appointed as Rector of the Benefice of Stokesley w Seamer. The collation by the Bishop of Whitby will be held in the Stokesley Parish Church on Sunday 15th February 2026 at 9.30am.
The Reverend Emmanuel Nazir Masih, (Priest in Charge of Middlesbrough, The Ascension), has resigned to be Interim Priest in Charge of the Marsh Farm Benefice in the Diocese of St Albans from Monday, 23 March 2026. The date of his final service will be Sunday, 15 February 2026 at 9.15am in the Parish Church of Middlesbrough The Ascension.
The Reverend Mark Nash-Williams has been appointed as Prison Anglican Chaplain at HMP Millsike. He was licensed by the Bishop of Selby in the Chapel at Bishopthorpe Palace on Monday 22nd December 2025 at 3pm.

The licensing by the Bishop of Whitby will be held on Thursday, 15 January 2026 at 9am at 21 Thornton Road, Stainton.
The Reverend Miriam Thurlow, Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Bridlington Christ Church with Bessingby and Ulrome, was appointed as Assistant Curate (known as Assistant Vicar) of the Benefice of Bridlington Christ Church with Bessingby and Ulrome.
