Organist / Director of Music (Yarm)

Organist / Director of Music: 6.5 hrs per week, £6,480 pa

Yarm Parish Church in York Diocese is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring church organist/director of music to lead and develop the musical life of our church which sits within the liberal catholic tradition of the Church of England.

The organ has recently (2023) undergone a £95k refurbishment and would suit someone keen to explore its full potential. Our previous Director of Music was appointed to a teaching post last September and we are very keen to find someone to pick up the baton in 2026.
We are looking for someone with the commitment and vision to recruit new choir members, nurture musical talent and uphold high standards of liturgical music.
