The Revd Nicola Eastwood, Vicar of Upton in the Diocese of Chester, has been appointed Vicar of Strensall and additionally as Area Dean for Easingwold Deanery. She will be Collated by the Archbishop of York in St Mary’s, Strensall on Monday, 11th November at 7.30pm.

The Revd Deborah Hamilton-Grey, who has the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate and is Assisting Priest of the Benefice of Barnham Broom and Upper Yare in the Diocese of Norwich, has been appointed as Vicar of Sutton Park St Andrew and Wawne St Peter, near Hull. She will be Collated by the Bishop of Hull in St Andrew’s, Sutton Park, Hull on Wednesday 18 December at 7:00pm.

The Revd Shelly Jones, Assistant Curate of Cottingham, has been appointed as Assistant Curate of South Cave and Ellerker with Broomfleet.

The Revd Robert Owen, Chaplain to Queen Margaret’s School, Escrick, has been appointed as Assistant Minister of Derwent Ings and of Escrick and Stillingfleet with Naburn (known as the Rivers Partnership).

The Revd Caroline Pinchbeck, Rector of Weighton Wold, Goodmanham and Sancton, Area Dean of South Wold, and Diocesan Rural Adviser, resigned with effect from 16th October 2024 to be Interim Priest in Charge of Forcett and Aldbrough, and Melsonby, and Diocesan Rural Change Enabler in the Ripon Episcopal Area of the Diocese of Leeds.

The Revd Daniel Thomas, Assistant Curate of Selby Abbey, will resign with effect from 10th December 2024 in order to be licensed as a Team Vicar in the Diocese of Worcester.
