How to make a successful NLHF application for your Church Project

About this event

In 2023 The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) launched a 10-year strategy with Four new Investment Principles to guide applicants and decision making around funding.

Over the next three years the NLHF delivery plan will include a focus on “Heritage in Need” and Places of Worship. This event will give churches the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, Lousie Clare (Development Manager, North), and Louise Sutherland, (Head of Engagement, North), about what this means for Places of Worship, key pointers in making a successful application, and the support you can expect to receive from the NLHF team throughout the process.

There will be time for group discussions and an opportunity to share experiences of applying for lottery funding and to ask questions.

Refreshments will be served on arrival and during a break.

Guest Speakers include:

Louise Clare: Development Manager England, North, NLHF

Louise Sutherland: Head of Engagement, England, North NLHF

Viv Cooling, the Diocesan’s new Funding and Community Engagement Adviser will also be available for questions:

Viv.cooling@yorkdiocese.org

Facilities: Accessible toilets, toilets, hearing induction loop. Please let the event organiser know if you require any additional support.

Parking: Limited parking can be found to the north side of the church on Market Hill. There is also free parking at a number of short and long-term sites in Hedon as well.
