Generosity Week: A message from the Archbishop of York
Why have a focus on Generosity?
We are excited to be joining in with the national Generosity Week from Sunday 29th September to Sunday 6th October 2024, giving us all the opportunity to spend eight days collectively focusing on nurturing and encouraging generosity. By the end of Generosity Week, all of us will have deeper understanding of God’s generosity towards us and how we can live more generously in our daily lives.
How do we get involved?
Through a daily selection of activities, worship and reflections, we will explore how we live generously as a church community and beyond. The resources below will give you the chance to ‘dig in’ deeper and reflect upon your life and your generosity as a church.
Resources for Generosity Week
Each day during Generosity Week we will be sharing a themed encouragement to unpack how we can be generous as a church community.
Day 1
Alongside the encouragements each day, there are a number of resources from across the Church of England to help you share about and engage with Generosity Week.
National Resources
Take a look below at the various resources your church might use during a Generosity Week. You may wish to use all the resources available or just a selection.
