Are you dedicated, hardworking and committed to delivering a high-quality learning experience for our children? We are a small Church of England Primary School in the East Riding of Yorkshire, where we offer high quality education for all the children in our care. We have a friendly, hardworking team of staff with a shared vision of high outcomes for all.
Due to a teacher undertaking a positive career move, we are looking for an aspirational Class Teacher to join us who can bring enthusiasm, creativity and have high expectations for our children. Appointment to this post will commence in the Autumn Term, September 2025.
Roos C.E. Primary is a school built on a culture of respect for all, which is actively promoted through the school’s Christian vision, ethos and values. Our Christian vision is for every member of our school family to ‘shine’ through a positive, nurturing environment underpinned by an enriched, inspiring curriculum that celebrates learning, fun and the wider achievements of all of our children and community. We promote excellence in everything we do and in the way we live, inspiring our children for life today, tomorrow and in the future, and guiding them in the true value of learning to “let your light shine!” (Matthew 5:16) We summarise this in the simple statement: “Together we Care, Learn and Shine.”
We are a supportive school that offers training and CPD for all our staff. Our children are enthusiastic and hardworking. You will be passionate about improving both childrens’ attainment and standards of teaching and learning and have a strong vision and shared ethos that supports our values and culture.
