Are you passionate about making a difference in a small school community? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our friendly and nurturing team at our small, rural primary school nestled in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a close-knit school community where Christian values and a love of learning are at the heart of everything we do, centred around our ‘KIND’ vision.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys the rewards and challenges of teaching in a small school environment, where every child is known and valued. You will work closely with a supportive team, delivering high-quality, creative teaching tailored to meet the needs of our mixed age learners.
Join us in shaping a positive future for our pupils in a school where every voice is heard and every achievement celebrated.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a strong commitment to inclusive, child-centred education
• Is flexible, resilient and keen to contribute to wider school life
• Supports and upholds the Christian values and vision of our school
• Can build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Has an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum with strong classroom management skills
• Has experience of teaching pupils in KS2
We offer:
• A welcoming, caring ethos with a strong sense of community
• Strong links between home, school and parish

As a Voluntary Aided Church of England school we achieved a very positive inspection report from SIAMS in September 2024, the successful candidate would need to be committed to upholding our Christian ethos.
Our federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We have a robust Child Protection Policy and staff will receive training relevant to their role at induction and throughout their employment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
As part of our recruitment process, we will also carry out online and social media checks on all shortlisted candidates in line with the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) guidance.
