Our parish is very mixed and we have a range of ministries to serve them. We seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing God’s healing to others and being seen as a place where everyone is welcome. Our modern building enables a range of ministries and is a hub for our local community with many people, of all ages, crossing our door each week.
We seek to be a house of prayer and encourage the personal and spiritual growth of every member. We enjoy worshipping God together, in order that God will equip us to achieve our full potential and fulfil His purpose for our lives and His Church. We support All Saints, our sister church, as they maintain God’s presence in their village and serve both villagers and tourists alike.
Both our churches are seeking someone with a missional heart who can embrace all that is good here but also lead us into new ministries. Our new Vicar will be an evangelical who brings experience of leadership. They will be someone who:
- Loves Jesus, seeks the guidance of the Spirit and lives out their faith daily
- Balances a strength of leadership with collaboration and enabling others
- Teaches the bible faithfully, and is an able preacher and teacher
- Shows patience, humility and approachability in the way they live
- Values all people and embraces the ministry of women and all lay people
We don’t want or expect our Vicar ‘to do everything’. Our church life is often busy, but we have a committed team of leaders, lay and ordained, who will work alongside you and support you in your ministry. We are excited about the next stage of our journey of faith and who God is calling to join us.
