The Revd Abi Davison, Assistant Curate, York Minster, has been appointed as Assistant Curate of Acomb Moor. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Selby at 10.00am at St James the Deacon, Acomb Moor on 10th March 2024.

He will be re-licensed by the Bishop of Whitby at his office on Thursday, 14th March 2024 at 9.00am.
The Revd Ian Holdsworth, who holds the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate, has been appointed as Assistant Curate of Nafferton with Wansford and of Hutton Cranswick with Skerne, Watton & Beswick. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Hull at All Saints’, Nafferton at 9.00am on Sunday, 17th March 2024.
The Revd David Johnson, 20s-40s Multiply Minister in Northallerton with Kirby Sigston, has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of Northallerton with Kirby Sigston. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby at All Saints’, Northallerton on Wednesday 13th March 2024 at 7.00pm.
The Revd Vanessa Kirby, Assistant Curate of Middlesbrough St Oswald and St Chad, has been appointed as Interim Pioneer Priest of Brookfield and of Stainton with Hemlington and Hilton for a period of three years. She will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby at St Peter and St Paul, Stainton at 2.30pm on Sunday, 24th March 2024.
The Revd Dr Robert Opala, Rector of Whorlton, has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of the Benefice of Ormesby. He will be licensed by the Bishop of Whitby at St Cuthbert’s, Ormesby on Sunday 14th April at 3.00pm.
The Revd Andrew Moreland, Vicar of the Benefice of Seamer, East Ayton and Cayton, has been appointed as Vicar of South Cave and Ellerker with Broomfleet. He will be instituted by the Bishop of Hull at All Saints’, South Cave on Monday 11th March 2024 at 7.30pm.
The Bishop of Hull has appointed the Revd Lindsey Pearson, Team Rector of Marfleet, additionally as Associate Area Dean of East Hull for a period of five years, succeeding the Revd Christopher van Straaten who has retired.
The Revd Pauline Percy, Assistant Curate of Sowerby and of Sessay and Thirkleby with Kilburn & Bagby, will retire on Monday 10th June 2024. Her final service will be on Sunday, 9th June at All Saints, Thirkleby.
