Movements of clergy and others, into, out of and between posts in the Diocese of York
The Rt Revd Steven Benford, who holds the Archbishop’s Permission to Officiate, has been appointed as Interim Priest-in-Charge of Sutton St James in Hull for a period of three years.
The Revd Nicola Eastwood, Incumbent of St Mary’s Church, Upton, Overchurch, Wirral in the Diocese of Liverpool, has been appointed as Priest in Charge of Strensall. She will be licensed by the Archbishop of York in St Mary’s Church, Strensall on Monday 11th November 2024 at 7.30pm.
The Revd Margaret Gallagher, Vicar of South Elmsall and North Elmsall in the Diocese of Leeds, has been appointed Vicar of Welton with Melton. She will be collated by the Bishop of Hull in St Helen’s, Welton on Thursday, 3rd October at 7.30pm.
The Revd David Rogers, Priest in Charge of Bubwith with Aughton and Skipwith, will retire on the 1st October 2024. His final service will be on the 29th September.
