We are seeking a Vicar to help us discover God’s vision for how we can live Christ’s story in our communities. We desire to grow in discipleship and deepen our unity so that we can reach those beyond our churches.
Our new Vicar will enjoy variety in ministry and purposefully engage with our communities. They will have a heart for the gospel and sharing it with others – both enabling us to evangelise and modelling it in their life and ministry. They will value the bible and its teaching, applying it to our lives and deepening our discipleship. They will,
- Envision us and lead us into growth
- Help us to reach those we currently don’t
- Teach the bible well and make a priority of growing disciples
- Embrace the variety of worship across our churches
- Love us and enjoy pastoral ministry here
We don’t expect our Vicar to do everything and we look to share in ministry with you. Prayer is important to us and we will pray for you. We work well as a team, with committed lay leadership, and there is a generosity of spirit amongst our churches.
You will find us in attractive countryside, close to Scarborough and the glorious east coast. We are excited about our future and finding the person God is calling to lead us forward into the plans we know he has for us.
